William John CEO Arizona Brothers Moving Company

William John started working in the moving industry in 1991. He began his career moving high-end furniture in the Los Angeles area, where he learned intricate strategies for protecting valuable pieces of furniture during a move. While William was working in L.A., his brother Richard was working for a nationally known long-distance moving company. Eventually, William moved into the construction business, working as a tile setter. When the economy crashed in 2008 and the construction industry stagnated, William knew it was time to look for a new career.

While out on a run one day with his brother Richard, they jogged past a man folding up moving blankets and stacking them into the back of an empty moving truck. William knew immediately that working in the moving industry was a career he loved and could do well, and that’s when Arizona Brothers Moving was born. In the early days of their company, William and Richard lived off of tips from moving jobs and put their paychecks into the bank, using the money to grow their newly started moving company.

Eventually, Richard sold his half of the company to William in order to pursue other career interests. William Johns now functions as the sole owner and CEO of Arizona Brothers Moving. William’s goal since the day they opened their doors was to build a long term business with a penchant for top-notch quality – a moving company that clients would return to again and again because they trusted him.

Even today it’s not unusual to see him working a moving job, still highly committed to doing whatever it takes to protect his clients’ belongings.
